UW‑Green Bay is expanding opportunities for working professionals with a growing lineup of for‑credit graduate certificate programs designed to meet today’s workforce needs. Built for flexibility, many of the certificates can be completed fully online and in as few as nine graduate credits (three classes,) allowing learners to build in‑demand skills, strengthen credentials or explore a new career direction—without committing right away to a full graduate degree. Programs span high‑impact areas including business, healthcare, education, data and analytics, sustainability, biotechnology and public service.
“Our graduate certificates reflect both the changing workforce and the needs of today’s learners,” said UW‑Green Bay Associate Vice Chancellor for Graduate Studies and Research Kerry Wilks. “They are intentionally designed to be practical, accessible and grounded in real‑world challenges, helping professionals move forward with confidence and purpose.” UW‑Green Bay’s certificates carry full graduate credit, are taught by expert faculty with real‑world experience, and can often be stacked into a related master’s degree—keeping long‑term educational pathways open.
One example is the Leadership and Peak Performance Certificate, inspired by the teamwork, resilience and high‑performance culture that define the Green Bay region. Emphasizing trust, accountability and leading under pressure, the program reflects UW‑Green Bay’s role as a forward‑thinking, supportive partner in workforce development. Professionals, managers and recent graduates are encouraged to explore how graduate certificates can help them advance with purpose and flexibility.
